CAPITAL FIELD HOCKEY LEAGUE IS ON FOR SUMMER, 2024! THIS IS YEAR 31!!
Capital Field Hockey League is back for this summer. We are excited to host the Capital Field Hockey League May 29- June 26 at George Mason University Intramural #3 Turf Field.
Each team will play a 9 game schedule on Monday and Wednesday evenings 5:00, 6:00, 7:00, and/or 8:00. If needed, we can have 4:15 games as well.
You may register only online. Fee for 2024 is $140.00
You may signup as a team, individual, or a group. Teams are limited to 16 players.
There will be a Middle school League for Rising 7th - 9th Graders in the school year 2024-2025 and a High School League for Rising 10th – Rising freshman in college in the school year 2024-2025.

Capital Field Hockey League
Welcome to Capital Field Hockey League 2024. This is our 31st year running Capital Field Hockey League and we again are excited to partner with George Mason University and run the league on the Intramural Field #3 Turf Field on the West Campus next to the Softball field.
Our history started in 1993 and we have so many former Capital players come back as coaches and/or parents and retell their stories of playing in the Capital League in their days:)
The purpose of the league has always been to give players the opportunity to use and develop their skills in games. It is an opportunity to play field hockey on a competitive and enjoyable level. This is a league for experienced players.
We take pride in having VHSL officials ref the games. In the past we have worked with new officials and student officials with mentors to help grow the game.
We always have 1-2 coaches per team on the sidelines mentoring and coaching the players during their games.
